Developed a comprehensive platform for the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to assist Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in accessing digital services and tools for digital transformation. The platform served as a central hub to connect SMEs with verified service providers, enabling them to easily find solutions that matched their business needs.

Problem Statement
SMEs in Malaysia, especially those new to digital tools, faced challenges accessing the resources needed to transform their businesses digitally. MDEC aimed to create the #SayaDigital Platform to provide a centralized hub where SMEs could easily access and utilize digital solutions. The challenge was to design a user-friendly interface that accommodated users with various levels of digital literacy while navigating the constraints of a no-code platform like OutSystems.

Simplify navigation and information architecture to ensure users can quickly find and engage with relevant tools and resources.

Defining MVP and Roadmap Planning Through Design Thinking
Conducted a design thinking workshop focused on outlining the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) by prioritizing essential features like the service provider directory, intuitive navigation, and basic onboarding flows.
User Flow and Information Architecture
Developed user journeys to ensure seamless navigation for SMEs with varying levels of digital literacy.
Wireframes and Rapid Feedback Iteration
Developed low-fidelity wireframes to define core interactions, incorporating quick feedback from stakeholders and users to align the platform with SME needs and business goals before moving to high-fidelity prototypes.

Created custom UI components aligned with MDEC’s brand. Built a scalable design system to support future platform updates, maintaining consistency across the platform.
